Child Finger Printing/Identification System

The Community Resource Division provides a free community service for the public utilizing the ACA CHIPS Child Identification Poster System. The system is a digital fingerprinting system that utilizes digital photographing and infrared to obtain the childs fingerprints. (no ink involved) The child's personal information (provided by the parents), a photograph, and finger prints are saved onto a diskette and given to the family for safekeeping. The disk can be returned to this agency for quick production of missing person posters, notifying other agencies, and identification of a child.

The program is usually available at every city function; but can be requested for special events through the Community Resource Division.
