How to Claim Property
The Property Division can be contacted Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Mansfield Police Department Public Safety Building by e-mail or calling (817) 276-4762.
Rules Governing all Property claimed by owner.
The general policy of the Department is to release property to the owner whenever practical, once ownership has been proven regarding the property. Once ownership has been determined regarding the property and the courts have released said property, the following information needs to be provided to the Property Division prior to releasing said property.
1. Contact Property Division and schedule date and time to pick up property.
2. If possible have Police Department's service number.
3. Present valid Identification.
