PROGRAM SUMMARIES
ON CAMPUS SCHOOL GROUPS:
School groups are conducted on each campus Station
House supports. These groups offer large array of subject matter
to include coping skills, anger management, and communication skills.
Typically, the active life of a teenager
is fast-paced, constantly changing and full of healthy challenges.
However, sometimes the best of time can become the worst of times
with academic problems, social difficulties, family adjustments or
emotional turmoil. The skills group combines support group discussion
with skill building activities. These expressive techniques help at-risk
adolescent gain a new understanding of themselves and their relationships
with others.
Do you have trouble getting along with
friends, parents or teachers? Does your anger make you feel out of
control? This program will help you learn appropriate ways to express
anger and effective communication skills. This group is designed for
both parents and adolescents. We strongly encourage family participation.
The First Offender program is an educational
program designed to work with both parents and adolescents.
